Knox Bedroom

The Knox bedroom, believed to be the bedroom of Amaziah and Illa Knox, contains the marble-topped bedroom set of the Knox's and a picture of Alice Mabel at age two. Since the building at this time had no indoor bathroom or electricity, the family used chamber pots, stored under the bed, and oil lamps. The Knox bedroom was renovated in 1994.

The bedrooms appear small even when compared to bedrooms of that day, but they were originally meant only to house overnight travelers.
